Their sirens are the only thing louder.................
When they finally turned the thing off as I shifted to the regular O2, it was gloriously quiet!
In the hospital, everyone wore a mask, and most wore a face shield, too. Many were foreign-born with accents. Between the mask, the shield, the accents, AND the high-volume O2 machine, I only understood every third word. Communication improved rapidly once they turned off that bloody machine.
But then they evicted me about 4 days later. LOL!
