I have not spotted any Murder Hornets a hundred miles South of where this nest was at, but we are having significantly more trouble with yellow jacket nests this year.

They aren’t “murder” hornets; they are Asian giant hornets.
Murder hornet is a term coined by some over zealous journalist to incite worry and panic.

Put up a “Murder Hornet Sanctuary” sign at the edge of the property. It’ll discourage trespassers.
