Back when McDonald’s fries were done in beef tallow, and they salted them propey, they really were a treat. I try to maintain an extreme low carb diets so for the most part fries are anathema, but I do allow myself a cheat day every 10-14 days.
McDonalds fries use to be the best until they changed their oil.....now the fries have a coating on them that tastes crappy....
Heck we use to stop for their fires alone they were so good.....now I never order them even with a meal.
Back when I worked at Mickey D’s (paper hat and barber shirt days, just after the Quarter Pounder came out) fries were the only thing I was hungry for after an 8 hour shift. Beef tallow and enough salt to preserve a buffalo hide.
