To be sure, but I said the '70s was the time for "really lame" novelty records. Dickie Goodman and anything by the Jimmy Castor Bunch is worse than ANYthing on your list.

On a road trip with my 20-something daughter and the dead skunk song came to mind for obvious reasons.

I think that led to the song about “My plastic Jesus on the dashboard of my car”, and later on the epic “Alice’s Restaurant”. She got a kick out of all of them.
