I think some people mix up the terms “infected” and “dangerously sick” as they are not the same. Likewise they mix up the terms “injection” and “6 foot insulation bubble”. The vaccine gets infected into our arms. It doesn’t build up any big bubble of protection in the air within 6 feet of our noses/mouths. The vaccine can only do anything for us once the virus spike proteins get inside our bodies. And then it goes to work to try to prevent serious illness.

Precisely. The makers of the vaccines ( all 3 of them ) never guaranteed 100% protection against infection.
They do give some assurance that even if you are infected ( like these Dallas Cowboys players are ), your symptoms will be either be nill, mild or moderate. Of course the huge number of hospitalized patients who are vaccinated in ISRAEL, makes one a skeptic.
Also, the healthcare authorities did tell us in the beginning that there is a near 100% certainty that you won’t die of Covid if you are vaccinated. Now, we know that even that is not true.
The polio vaccine prevented you from getting polio. The smallpox vaccine prevented you from getting smallpox.
The covid vaccine does not prevent you from getting covid. In fact it appears to make you even more susceptible. The covid vaccine also has many side effects including death in many many cases.
In a nutshell the covid vaccine is medical experimentation in which phama companies are making billions.
Lastly: you can take it to the bank that few if any of the leftist vaccine pushers have had this injected into them. That right there should tell you something.

CDC says the vaccine prevents infection. Not “keeps you off a ventilator”.
After 18 months of reading COVID posts, I think very few people at Free Republic get mixed up about the definition of basic medical terms.
At least one important point was concealed in this article - vaccinated players are not routinely tested. They are only tested when they develop symptoms or report a known exposure.
The four un-vaccinated players are tested weekly - and they show zero virus.
It would be very interesting to see what percentage of ALL vaccinated players are carrying live virus.
As you may know, multiple studies in Europe and Israel have shown that the Pfizer vaccine suppresses certain parts of the human immune system in a significant percentage of recipients.
Perhaps the vaccinated players are getting sick because the vaccine is suppressing their immune systems?
On the other hand, perhaps the un-vaccinated are not sick because their immune systems are undamaged and operating at maximum efficiency?
One final note...
The current USA Fatality Rate per confirmed infections is in the 0.5% - 0.6% range. Almost all those deaths were un-vaccinated.
During the COVID peak during January 2021, the Fatality Rate exceeded 2.0% for several weeks, and almost all those deaths were un-vaccinated, too.
It is quite clear that the Delta Variant is less deadly than the original virus and the original variants.
In fact, for the five weeks preceding the current outbreak, the COVID Fatality Rate was about 0.3%, which is only slightly above the normal influenza Fatality Rate.
Actually, that would be the immune system that goes to work in a normal, healthy individual, vaccinated or not. All the vaccine does is prime the immune system so it can get an earlier start.
If it weren't for the politics around it, this virus would be a yawner no one ever paid attention to. Almost of the deaths had politics as a comorbidity in addition to the individual being unhealthy in some way.
None of the literature from Pfizer or the FDA says anything about preventing serious illness. They say "prevention of COVID-19", which it obviously does not do.
