Apparently you have not read my answer to this very question numerous times.
1. Ivermectin is not a cure, it has marginal utility and weak treatment
2. Monoclonal antibody treatments, particularly early, stop the disease in its tracks at a much higher and more consistent level than off label use of Ivermectin
3. In the presence of a superior treatment where time is of the essence, it would violate my first oath of do no harm to suggest someone attempt an inferior treatment and see what happens.
Its really pretty simple.
I know I am not going to change your mind and I do not want a debate with you. Everyone knows you don’t believe in ivermectin because you tried it a few times at a dose much lower than recommended and it did not work.
This post is to provide information to others.
Ivermectin is well studied and is showing efficacy against the virus.
Meta analysis using the most serious outcome reported shows 66% [53‑76%] and 86% [75‑92%] improvement for early treatment and prophylaxis, with similar results after exclusion based sensitivity analysis and restriction to peer-reviewed studies or Randomized Controlled Trials.
•Statistically significant improvements are seen for mortality, ventilation, ICU admission, hospitalization, recovery, cases, and viral clearance. 30 studies show statistically significant improvements in isolation.
•Results are very robust — in worst case exclusion sensitivity analysis 54 of 65 studies must be excluded to avoid finding statistically significant efficacy.
•While many treatments have some level of efficacy, they do not replace vaccines and other measures to avoid infection. Only 26% of ivermectin studies show zero events in the treatment arm.
•Multiple treatments are typically used in combination, and other treatments could be more effective, including monoclonal antibodies which may be available in countries not recommending ivermectin.

Ivermectin use has nearly eradicated Covid in Utter Pradesh, India
Many FReepers are also reporting success with ivermectin as well.
Monoclonals do seem to be effective as well, but are not available to everyone. Many have tried to get it and failed because they did not meet the age and risk factors. It is being rationed in many states.
For those who cannot get Monoclonals and for those who did and it did not help them (I know several now), and want to try something other than wait and go to the ER, Ivermectin is a safe and effective treatment, especially early.
Seems to me that you are like some Md,s we have all experienced. You don’t listen to your patients because you refuse to admit you are wrong. Even though the evidence is overwhelming, you refuse to admit you are wrong!
Uttar Pradesh stopped Covid with Ivermectin. They have a ~5% vaccinated rate.
