Enter Bannon the Barbarian, Pure of Heart, Sage of Deplorables.
Bannon’s Warroom is the best source of news and information available. Surprising how limited the participation on these threads here. Maybe Steve should do a special “Day in The Life of GW Bush” show just for Free Republic.
I try and watch as much as possible and I can always catch a repeat late at night.
:)
You are absolutely correct on both points.
IMO, as a twice-a-day listener for some time, the program would be more popular if Bannon stopped interrupting interesting guests so frequently with, Whoa, whoa, hold on, hold on, wait a minute, whoa, hold on...'
That is the heavy handed way many intellectual bullies control the discussion and it can be a challenge to listen to on a regular practice.
Mike Lindell is doing admirable work on our behalf and deserves the gratitude of our nation; I am buying pillows every month and giving them to family. But Mike is such a frenetic speaker that he can be a challenge to listen to as well, let alone follow and understand.
Bannon might think about recommending Lindell take a chill pill 30 minutes prior to coming on, or perhaps trying to limit Lindell to shorter one-topic snippets.
I listen 3 hours a day while I’m working and walking my dog and I don’t mind Bannon’s interruptions. They are often needed to get the speaker to refocus. I like his Socratic method.
The interruptions don’t bother me. He does that when a guest is throwing out an opinion and he wants it clarified.
I hate when he asks every guest how to find their social media.
A moderator or radio host always has the prerogative to interrupt a speaker in an attempt to facilitate the discussion. Typically, we hear a calm, "Excuse me,..." or a "Do you mean...?" by way of seeking clarification.
What I think is unnecessary, if not offensive to the speaker, is to repeat "Hold on", "whoa", "just a minute", etc., several times in a single sentence in a challenging tone that suggests disbelief.
Yes, and I see why Steve Bannon has been divorced three times. I love him but as I’ve read about him, he “has the personality of a porcupine.” I just cringe when he criticizes “Denver” the crack production team (it is odd how many technical difficulties that show has).
Steve Bannon doesn’t suffer fools and I view him as a lovable and brilliant asshole. Same with Scott Adams, who is soulless and a good counterpart (moderate balance) to Bannon. I listen to both men daily. I like what they have to say and it’s how I get my news now that the regular news is pure propaganda and lies.
ROTFLMAO...classic!
