LONDON (AP) — A publicist says Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts has died at age 80.
I also heard Keith wanted Steve Marriott, but Mick said no.
Well Ginger had a pretty wild life. Maybe the wildest of all. “Beware of Mr. Baker” is a must watch.
The “Dirty Mac’s” might as well have been named the “Band ‘o Junkies”.
A spokesperson for the musician said the procedure was “completely successful” but that Watts needs time to recuperate."

But that performance was one of Lennon’s best. You could see how free he felt being away from The Beatles.
Or Post-Op Infection. That’s the worst thing about surgeries at that age. You are so vulnerable afterwards, even if the surgery is successful.

Well they were already touring without him cause of the surgery. So probably not. But what’s next? Not like they’ve been burning up studio time making albums.

Yeah. Apparently Dusty’s last words were to keep on playing. It is that interesting conundrum for bands that don’t break up. How many guys do you keep going after they die? Is it a mantle? Is this band forever?
That was a very entertaining movie. It was a hoot when Ginger attacked his friend the movie maker with a cane when he said he was going to interview Ginger's friends and ex-wives for the movie, thus breaking and bloodying the guy's nose. It's available here for free if anyone's interested.
