Yeah, everyone else in my family moved to New Jersey.
We used to have GREAT parties in backyards with cheap beer, cheap hot dogs and no brand soda that were the best times of my life.
Now we have posh affairs in upscale restaurants that are stuffy as ##$$#$ and not NEARLY as fun as the old parties.
All the Italians moved out to NJ and now they think they are WASPs instead of WOPs :)
No offense meant to WASPs. Great people and the backbone of this country
It just makes me a little sad to see the Italian traditions drop off more and more with each generation.
But that’s as it should be in America.
