The Capitol Police officer who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol "will not be facing internal discipline," Capitol Police said Monday.
After interviewing multiple witnesses and reviewing all the available evidence:
"[The Department's] Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) determined the officer’s conduct was lawful and within Department policy, which says an officer may use deadly force only when the officer reasonably believes that action is in the defense of human life, including the officer’s own life, or in the defense of any person in immediate danger of serious physical injury.
"The officer in this case, who is not being identified for the officer’s safety, will not be facing internal discipline."
The announcement was anticipated after reports Friday that the officer, who has not been publicly identified, had been exonerated in the departmental probe.

Nobody killed the pinko protestors who occupied Wisconsin’s capitol building in 2011.
The election protestors in 2021 certainly didn’t expect to be murdered when entering our nation’s capitol.
Makes sense. Ashli was a white chick and a Trump supporter. That’s enough for the government to authorize “termination with extreme prejudice”.
They probably gave him a medal. Quietly.
Now we get to watch Aaron Babbitt’s lawsuit be dismissed.
Perhaps the “Protestor’s” family will have some success in an EXTERNAL investigation.

If that pic of that murderer aiming at Ashli Babbitt coming through that window with that Antifa/BLM thug standing right there (Chapman) seeing it all happen and he was sprung from jail doesn’t scream for justice then nothing will! I hope when we take this country back some of these imjustices can be re-addressed!

They announced that the shooting was justified and no charges would be filed a couple of months ago. Them and the DOJ both.
