I dunno.

Be interesting to see the toxicology report. That will likly be key here. All are dead, including the dog and no physical signs of foul play. I’d be very surprised if they don’t find toxins present capable of killing them.

Btw, I think this is going to be a murder/suicide case.

An alarming number of people mysteriously die or go missing in the national parks and forests. Yosimite and the Sierra Nevadas hold the record number. So many, that the Yosimite parks service has their own search and rescue team, and they rarely involve any outside agencies, or give out any details about the number of missing they have.

A mere meander wiped out an entire family?

I doubt the meander did it. Although if you meander into the wrong areas it can result in unpleasantness.

I am inclined toward the idea that poison killed them, the question being natural, accidental or deliberate.

17 inch long Bigfoot tracks were found less than 1/2 mile from the deceased family`s location in July 1964 by a Boy Scout leader andv a medic, published in the Modesto Bee July 16, 1964 with photos of the plaster casts.

—” Bigfoot”

Could be but IIRC Bigfoot was nonviolent?

12 days later and not much to report.
