No. I’m in Orange County...no holes in our envelopes, and a different ballot altogether. I’m just surprised that there is any variation in ballots; there’s only ONE race on the ballot (no local variables that would explain a different ballot layout)...why isn’t EVERY ballot exactly the same statewide?

L.A. County here, three registered Republican ballots, all with the hole in the return envelope. You could be onto something.

So maybe it is not that purpose of the hole is to "peek" and see what the vote was, but that only Republican ballots are hole-punched.
