Kamala doesn’t strike me as the kind to sit back and let another gal impose her will on a throne that Kamala herself has her sights set on.

I agree. Kamala, however, will not force Joe out just yet. The last thing she wants is to step up to the big chair now and Immediately become the center of attention for the Afghanistan debacle. She now needs to keep a low profile for a few months until she feels the dust has settled enough for her to take over.

There’s a timing to this. She can serve for more than 8 years as Prez if she passes the halfway mark in this term before she takes over...so there’s a possibility of almost 10 years.
