Confused by this, though. Isn’t it still their winter in August? Yet they are dressed like the are having the same weather there that we have here in Maryland in August.

I checked to see what the weather's like in Melbourne. Highs in the 50s, lows in the 40s. Cold enough that the locals have posted a "Sheep Graziers Warning" for little lambs at night in the wind.

Those Aussies are a tough lot even if their lambs aren't.
