Well, technically no. Grassley was Pres. Pro Tempore of the Senate by virtue of his seniority in the majority party.
That designation is now Patrick Leahy — whose brain is about as empty as Xiden bin Hiden.

Stuck in Waco consulting with Ted Nugent, his wife Angela and their grandson with her drove to PF Changs Dallas tonight for dinner with friends, where she ordered water and lemonade.
Driving after dinner, she was stopped and arrested for a “possible” DUI, I think he said. The cops took her away to jail and the little boy was left on the side of the road with two cops, who dialed up the daughter to pick him up.
