Intermittent fasting is easy. Stop eating about by 7pm and wait about 12 to 14 hours. Skip breakfast. Have a cup or two of coffee in the morning.
It’s best to adjust your diet as well. At a minimum, eliminate oils like canola, soy bean, peanut, etc. (Animal days, butter, olive oil, and palm oil are okay) Also reduce to a minimum sugar and refund carbs.

Basically, it’s good to stay hungry. It’s what we’re built for.
Over the long span of human existence, being well fed on a regular basis is the exception, not the norm.
My 8 hour fast is while I’m sleeping.
