Trump deserves enormous credit for ending the war in Afghanistan something Barack “surge” Obama couldn’t do as he was a useful puppet to the Military Industrial Complex.
President Trump had the courage to negotiate with the Taliban and agreed a deal to get all troops out by the end of 2020 only for the neocons like Liz Cheney teaming up with Democrats in the House to stop it and punt it until well into 2021 (i.e now).
To the tough guy neocons on both sides: Accept this. To the generals who don’t have a clue and think every country wants a Western style democracy (or Republic?) Wake up and stop doing the bidding of the Military Industrial Complex. Your treachery and lies will be revealed in good time.
This is a great day and victory for taxpayers. Tens of billions of dollars will no longer be shipped to that sh*thole every year.
With this war ended a vast gravy train has also ended and no more blood and treasure will be spilt in this godforsaken land (of ours at least).
Every cloud ….
But some very bad things an come from there if we do not maintain a strategic presence.
Rand Paul is wrong.
Who was President then? What’s his ideology think think I know you can do this
How about, instead of sending troops overseas to invade and bomb foreign countries (which only cause foreigners to hate us), we instead focus on closing our borders, deporting illegals, and internal security?
By internal security, I mean Hoover's FBI, which protected the country from Communists and foreign threats, instead of persecuting patriots and subverting a duly elected American President (i.e., Trump).
Instead we have the policies of Deep State Neocon Bill Kristol, who wants a lax immigration policy (i.e., open borders), allowing easy entry for any terrorist, while we waste trillions in policing the world.
Obama carried out the same Deep State Neocon foreign policy as Bush and Biden. So what’s your point?
Nah the only deep state policies are by the Non interventionist types like you who wants America completely isolated for Russia her allies to have global dominance governance upon the entire free world.
Here’s a question for you was 9/11 an inside job for Cheney/ Halliburton yes or no? It’s a straight yes or no answer.
No he didn’t.
Was 9/11 an inside job for Cheney Halliburton yes or no?
Straight answer cowboy
Whom those "evil" Russians tried to warn us about.
Flanking position? Sounds like you enjoy playing a game of Risk. Having fun maneuvering your toy armies around a world map?
Trouble is, when Neocons at the Pentagon do it, real Americans dies.
Hey cowboy, I don’t owe you an answer to anything.
Why are you avoiding the question?
Was 9/11 an inside job for Cheney Halliburton?
Because I don't like your snarky attitude. Had you been polite, I would have happily answered.
Sure cowboy or you believe that it was and you don’t wanna say it out loud weak dude.
Pretty bossy, for a n00b.
Welcome to FR.

Russia is a great country and should be treated as an ally instead of being pushed towards China.
It seems to me that we had an "America First" thing going here right before the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.. How'd that work out?
I have spent the better part of my life all over the world, training, teaching, leading, and learning and I have learned that being a preeminent power is temporary if you don't keep our adversaries off balance. If you decide to follow your ideas, they come to us and it won't be pretty.
Talk about persistence and perseverance.
While our young people were fighting there, the Taliban stayed in their holes and the enemies of the US had to play defense.
We also stabilized the region and kept Iran in its hole and away from the former Soviet Republics - and the Chinese in their frontiers.
Now, thanks to folks who apparently can't read a map, we are just dumping all of the good, hard work we have done and letting Iran and China have a free hand and the murderous Taliban loose to kill and rape all over again.
You honestly don't see how that's going to bite us, here, in the butt? If you don't now, you will.
True enough.. I guess that I ought to get more hobbies!
