The only thing more incompetent - or dangerous - than a Biden presidency is a Harris presidency. And unless she has a heart attack that is inevitable in the next couple of months and probably the next couple of weeks - or maybe days.

It’s overwhelming to consider the matrix of things that should be done to be prepared.
Once Rome became an empire, subject to the frequent palace revolutions that resulted in a change of the Caesar, sometimes with really bad outcomes for both the ruling class and the common people.
Those who will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Often referred to, but seldom taken to heart.
There are no lessons to be applied at the moment. When you are going through hell, keep going. No matter how far it is to the other side.

If there are 6,000 troops in a concentrated area with an enemy surrounding them…
If there are thousands of American and Western civilians in a concentrated area…
It would not take much for that powder keg to explode into a real mess. How long could a few batteries of artillery fire into that morass before our counter batteries and air power could respond. By that point, it wouldn’t matter.
And if there are thousands of Allied civilians in country….how long before they are rounded up?
Biden could not survive that. Harris would not get much support.
The Taliban don’t HAVE to win a battle. All war is political. 10-15 minutes could reshape more than 200 years of US history.
