... 'So this is not only the pandemic of the unvaccinated in the U.S., it's a pandemic of the young now.'
He added: 'It is not just a huge proportion of patients admitted to the ICU with COVID, it is also a much younger demographic than we've seen previously.'
'And again, I think this is another myth that young people don't get very sick. And that is clearly not the case, particularly with Delta wave.'...

So looks like I’m in the clear. 👍🏻
I’m overage
The young obese! That’s the missing part of the story.
Thank you for the update.
Changes in the standards for hospitalization???
Doctors work for you don’t they?
OMG what a bunch of BS.
Worse, this propaganda tell (if the charts weren’t enough):
“The data shows that thirtysomethings made up 170,852 out of more than 2.5 million new hospital admissions for COVID-19 since August 2020.”
We all know that if they were a majority ‘UNvaccinated’ that it would be headline news blasted with a megaphone.
RIGHT???
Pure propaganda. My source is two frontline pediatric nurses in a major US city. It is RSV likely caused by kids being masked for a year. As one of them said, it’s criminal they may the media is spinning this.
BUT DID THEY DIE?
they have guidelines and recommendations, for safety sake, they have to go by- Budenoside isn’t used often these days apparently because there are other safer meds- at least that was the jist of what the doc implied-
I used it last winter when I had Covid. It seemed to assist in keeping the inflammation in check, though I still wound up with some lung damage. Never went to the hospital. No side effects for me. Easy to administer with plastic break open ampules. No resistance in prescribing from my doc or filling by the pharmacy. I feel it should be part of a treatment regime. You get direct application of the medication to the lungs with a nebulizer.
Glad you recovered as well as you did. Sometimes the ventilator does as much damage (intubation scrapes on esophagus) as it helps but most doctors don’t know what else to do.
outside of a hospital study, in the real world application, and when there’s a high rate of mild cases anyway, how does anyone know whether taking ivermectin really works, or it’s just mild cases recovering naturally? It doesn’t prevent infection either, as shown real-world in Peru and Brazil where it was available early on in little $5 kits.
So you have to look at hospital studies which tend to show only 60-70% effective in mitigating mild-level hospitalizations - that’s less than monoclonals and less than vaccines. The other problem with the studies is, the percentage effective, are all over the place and none of the studies show consistency.
Ivermectin will never gain acceptance until it has a solid ‘number’ of dosing, time and effectiveness. Same as all the other treatments. Studies continue. Some complain the studies are taking too long, but they should consider the complaints the vaccine studies weren’t long enough.
that’s on the average tho. Death rate for seniors runs the scale up to 5.9% +. Death rate for ICU is around 22% last I read, or 1 in 5 don’t make it.
another way to look at it is 1 in 59 dead (infected), 1 in 500 dead (US population) and 1 in 150 dead (world population) Mexico and Peru are at 1 in 9 or 10. Not so ‘vanishingly small’ maybe? and that’s just mortality, not the covid-disabled ( ( the 20% of discharged ICU who are at high risk to die within a year after repeat hospitalizations and the 20% with long covid and organ/nerve damage even in asymptomatics)
Massage the numbers all you want. In my opinion this is the largest public health fraud ever perpetrated against the public.
Funny how total deaths overall over the last 19 months are within the margin of error. Odd how suddenly nobody has died from the regular flu for the last year and a half.
We are being played, and few want to admit they have been scammed and lied to, frightened into compliance, and are now acting like 9 year old children in a haunted house.
How about: You do what’s right for you, and leave the rest of us alone, okay?
BS.
