I knew somebody was talking about Quinine for Wuhan flu but couldn’t remember what it was supposed to do.
IF YOU TAKE ZINC WITH THIS RECIPE, THE ZINC PROPELS THE QUININE INTO YOUR CELLS FOR A MUCH FASTER HEALING.
14. HERE IS ALL YOU NEED TO DO TO MAKE YOUR VERY OWN QUININE......TAKE THE RIND OF 2-3 LEMONS, 2-3 GRAPEFRUITS. TAKE THE PEEL ONLY AND COVER IT WITH WATER ABOUT 3 INCHES ABOVE THE PEELS.PUT A GLASS LID ON YOUR POT IF YOU HAVE ONE, A METAL ONE IS FINE IF YOU DON'T.
15. LET IT SIMMER FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS. DO NOT TAKE THE LID OFF OF THE POT TILL IT COOLS COMPLETELY AS THIS WILL ALLOW THE QUININE TO ESCAPE IN THE STEAM.
16. SWEETEN THE TEA WITH HONEY OR SUGAR SINCE IT WILL BE BITTER. TAKE 1 TABLESPOON EVERY COUPLE OF HOURS TO BRING UP THE PHLEGM FROM YOUR LUNGS. DISCONTINUE AS SOON AS YOU GET BETTER.
17. PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH THOSE THAT NEED TO REDUCE FEAR AND ALLOW THEM TO SEE THAT GOD IN ALL OF HIS GLORY, PROVIDES US WITH ALL THAT WE NEED.
(sorry for the shout...was the first recipe I found....Spokeshave)
In my family, tonic was what they gave you when you were sick. (I’m finding this interesting now that all the benefits of HCQ are becoming known. How did my grandmother know this?) When I was about 6 years old, my family was visiting my uncle in San Francisco and we went out to one of those old school Chinese restaurants with the lazy Susan on the table. After dinner, I felt really ill and puked on the sidewalk. We got back to my uncle’s apartment and he said, “Here, give her this tonic water.” I took one sip and hurled so hard that I sprayed two of the bathroom walls before I could get my head in the toilet. I have never been able to drink tonic since then and he also never let me forget that incident.
