Just my 2 cents here. I think both knew what they are up against and this is just battlefield reality when the government is 70 - 80% controlled by a foreign government. You work with the battlefield you have, not the one you want, and sometimes the patriots sustain damage from Deep State attacks. We are seeing temporary battlefield losses on the part of those who will not accept defeat in the war.
