i know squat about Rumble other than some videos i’ve seen but i tried to link a video once and it wasn’t worth the effort when i could simply post the Rumble link

As a developer and webmaster please let me correct you because you might be mistaken. Rumble does let you link. In fact we can just drop Rumble video links into the posts in our forum and they autoembed themselves.
But the site script has to have the capability to allow this first like ours does.
