It's always so ugly when a racist * like Tlaib utters the term racism. Especially after even lefty Greenblatt denounced her bigotry.
Some people might not argue against the words if they knew what the folks using the words meant by them. They might argue against the policy, though, which is why these folks intentionally leave the definitions vague. Equity sounds a lot like Equality but it is not the same thing at all.

‘Equality’ - as used in our founding documents, Civil Rights Act, and many other historical government references - means Equality of Opportunity, and Equal Treatment Under the Law.
‘Equity’ is a Marxist buzzword referring to a commanded and enforced outcome.
Oregon just instituted equity by eliminating the requirement to read and write before graduating high school.
