Monday night residents of the 138-unit building at 5050 NW Seventh St. lugged belongings to their vehicles as they were ordered to be out of their homes by 8 am Tuesday morning, news outlets reported.
'My grandfather just comes in the house screaming that we have to leave immediately,' resident Mya Ncastanedo told WSVN. 'If this building is demolished, there goes our property ... and all our memories from growing up here.'

The death toll in the Champlain Towers South collapse now stands at 79, after another victim was recovered Friday, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said in an evening news conference. Of those, 53 victims have been identified, she said. Currently, 61 people are potentially unaccounted for, the mayor added.
Well, at least they’ll be alive to pay that YUGE condo special assessment to fix their foundation before it collapses.
