Has there ever been a President who "called a lid" on his work day?

Imagine FDR doing that. I am NOT saying his changeover to the welfare state and constant increases in the power of government are good. I am just saying he had to run a world war response by the US and get out of a major Depression.

A book about his stamp collecting which I read said he had suitcases of stamps and collecting gear on his trips wherever he went and said "My stamp collecting has saved my life many times over" in all the intense stress and responsibility. He sent thousands of personal letters and envelopes to children with his enormous number of duplicate stamps. One estimate of his personal collection was 1,200,000 stamps. He personally worked on the choice and designs for series of commemoratives with is Postmaster General.

One day his aides messed up and the collection was forgotten. He said "I have this terrific headache" and those were apparently his last words as he died of a cerebrovascular event.

FDR was handicapped but he put in full days. He created a depression that he had to deal with and had a full blown world war on his hands. He served 3+ terms and didn’t take days off due to his handicap. I think he was way off in his thinking, but he didn’t crap out halfway through the day.

Biden is a sock puppet being propped up by the obama team as a facade of a president.

Don’t let FDR off too easily. After he returned from Tehran in December 1943 began his final descent to the grave. His official physician, Rear Admiral Ross McIntire was said to never lied about FDR’s condition - he told the truth but artfully in language that could easily be misleading. And it was. The American people were misled at a time when it could not afford to be misled.

A Chief of Staff in Xiden’s condition would be summarily removed if he did not resign. Let that sink in a moment ... as to the seriousness that this man is being propped up. Who is really in charge?
