Sen. Bernie Sanders: It's time to protect working families through $3.5 trillion budget 'reconciliation' bill
Fox News ^ | Aug 9 | Bernie Sanders

For too many years the people on top have been doing phenomenally well, while working families continue to struggle. The time is long overdue for Congress to address the long-neglected needs of ordinary Americans, and not just the 1% and wealthy campaign contributors. And that is precisely what we’re trying to do right now in Congress through an historic $3.5 trillion "reconciliation" bill.

It is unacceptable that the United States has more income and wealth inequality now than at any time in the last hundred years. Today, the two wealthiest people in this country own more wealth than the bottom 40% and the top 1% own more wealth than the bottom 92 percent.

Since 2009, 45% of all new income has gone into the hands of the 1 percent.

Bernie, you want to protect working families - repeal the income tax.

The only thing The Burn is protecting is his mansion collection and the Marxist CounterRevolution in the US.

Sanders is an expert at spending other people’s money.

But in this case, these trillions of dollars are being created not out of thin air, but almost pure vacuum nothingness.

All it will do is inflate the currency and run up inflation even more than what we already have.

Yeah, let’s run inflation in the plus 20% - that’ll cure the economy or something. Also raise gas prices because, global warming and all that.

It's the working families who pays for this bill, and all other bills, directly or indirectly.
So how can it possibly help?

Not likely to happen. God seems quite content to let evil live a long life and ruining the lives of millions on this planet every day. I’d rather see a planet reboot than to continue down this path. Man has no stomach to fix the problems we have on Earth.

The GOP-e gets handed their heads.
When this gets rammed thru, there will be 18 less members of the GOP-e.

$3.5 trillion

10 million working families - $350,000/family

20 million working families - $175,000/family

With that sort of help, why would they remain working families?

330 million Americans - $10,606 each

It’s time to destroy the savings of working families through $3.5 trillion budget deficit spending bill that will cause Venezuelan-style runaway inflation.

What do the collectivist herp-derps mean by constantly throwing around the term “working families?” Don’t almost all families have to work to sustain themselves?

Someone should tell the worthless communist double-speak douchebag that almost all American families WERE working not too long ago and doing quite well.

Then .gov and the likes of HIM came along and smashed it all up.

“…protect working families through $3.5 trillion budget 'reconciliation' bill.”

First, Sanders misspelled "famblies". Got that Bernie? It is spelled working "famblies", not "families".

Second where are all these working "famblies"? There are help wanted signed everywhere. Everywhere. In reality these "famblies" don't want to work. They are layabouts waiting for their gubment check.

Reminds me of that classic Johnny Rebel song "Looking for a Handout".

Boo yah! Now that’s an idea! I sent a scathing email to Grassley. All these supposed public servants retire as multimillionaires then expect to admire them for their years of “sacrifice”. Barf.
