UN report says humans changing climate at ‘unprecedented’ rate

Alarming UN report blamed human activity for ‘unprecedented’ changes to the climate.

Humanity will experience more extreme weather in the coming years and it will suffer the consequences of rising sea levels and melting Arctic ice, scientists working from across the globe said in a crucial UN climate report.

The alarming report by a UN scientific panel, released on Monday, called changes to the climate “unprecedented”, added that it is “unequivocal” that humans are to blame, and laid out the case for drastic cuts to emissions in order to hold the global temperature to under the limits set by the 2015 Paris Agreement. ---Snip... “This report must sound a death knell for coal and fossil fuels, before they destroy our planet,” he said in a statement. “Countries should also end all new fossil fuel exploration and production and shift fossil fuel subsidies into renewable energy.” ---Snip For example, the last time the planet’s atmosphere was as warm as today, about 125,000 years ago, global sea levels were likely five to 10 metres (16 to 32 feet) higher – a level that would put many big coastal cities under water.

Three million years ago, when atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations matched today’s levels and temperatures were 2.5C (4.5F) to 4C (7.2F) higher, sea levels were up to 25 metres (82 feet) higher.

Why did Obama Osama YoMama buy an estate in Martha’s Vineyard if it’s all going to be under water?

Because he knows “climate change” is a load of crap.

Obama’s so worried about the ocean rising he moved a 5 minute walk away from the sea to keep an eye on it.

Russia is on board.

Vladimir Putin had John Kerry in town (Moscow) earlier this month for several days and last Thursday Putin had something to say.

Putin attributed flash floods and wildfires in Russia to climate change and said it is a very important issue with temperatures in Russia rising 2.8 times faster than the world as a whole...

I invite all to go to my blog where I report the story and offer a short commentary.

“Climate Change” is a world government-business plan IMHO.

Its taxes your carbon consumption to fund government programs while protecting worldwide economic (business) development from taxation.

We had September in July in East Tennessee.

We’ll probably freeze our butts off come December

Taking the earth on average, over the whole, everything is normal

Why do I suspect that Putin’s agenda is to help weaken the economies of Russia’s competitors?

German radio has been breathlessly reporting climate eschatology all day long to the land that is turned its face from nuclear energy.

I’m very alarmed. Barack’s house is only a hundred yards from the sea. The sophisticated vaccinated crowd may get swept into the sea at any moment. This is hugh and series also.

Biden has said at the Director of National Intelligence office when he made his speech there the other week that US should work with China and Russia on the “climate change” issue.

Kerry devoted three days to visiting Russia on this issue earlier in the month.

They have adopted his line as Putin said last week blaming fires and floods in Russia recently mostly on climate change.

Sure, publicly if Putin can go ahead and blame it on the US, why wouldn’t he go along?

The solution, of course, is for the USA to impoverish itself. Along with simply giving away vast amounts of money to regimes that claim to be affected by “climate change”.

China, as usual, will be exempted from any of these mandates.

“Humans have domain over the planet. Humans will adapt as they always have.”

That’s the way I look at it, plus no one talks about the benefits of global warming.

Don’t the fossil fuels that are producing carbon dioxide come from dead plant matter that, when alive, captured carbon dioxide?

If so, all that’s happening now is that that carbon dioxide is being returned to the atmosphere where it originally came.

An increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide enhances plant life. Plants consume carbon dioxide. Don’t we have a self-correcting situation?
