I remember, back in the day, that most of the guys in my neighborhood would work on their cars, and then race them on weekends.

Hanging out in different friend's garages was a thing.

I miss those days too.

People were free back then.

Who knew we would end up living George Orwell's 1984.

Yeah, all of hoodlum friends back in late 70s/early 89s Philly we’re greasemonkies too. We all knew how to keep our cars running out of necessity and because none of of us had any money.

But life was good and the future only extended as far as the weekend… and chasing your favorite skirt…
