Donald Trump Estimates He Saved 100 Million Lives With the COVID-19 Vaccine

Former President Donald Trump estimated up to 100 million people would have died from COVID-19 without his administration's efforts to spur the development of vaccines.

If not for Operation Warp Speed, which was the name of the Trump administration’s initiative to develop vaccines quickly to protect the public from the coronavirus, Trump said the health crisis death toll would be similar to that of the Spanish Flu pandemic more than a century ago.

"I think if we didn’t come up during the Trump administration with a vaccine you could have 100 million people dead just like you had in 1917. You take the Spanish Flu, 100 million people — up to 100 million people died. I think we’d be in that territory," the former president said in an interview with Fox News host Dan Bongino that aired Saturday night.

I wasn’t aware Trump worked for Pfizer of Moderna. I didn’t know he was a virologist either.

I never joined Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, or any of them. I only joined Parler last year after they banned Trump from Twitter. I thought he might land there, but then Parler went offline, and I don't spend time any time there since it came back up. I joined Gab, and recently Gettr, but again, don't spend time on either one of them. I joined one group on Gab, and that was the Cat Lover's group. Besides FR, the other place I visit regularly is Patriots.win. I love the memes and comments there.

My immediate family has been gone for a while now. I just turned 74, and have two sons in their 50's. They've both gotten the vaccine, and of course I worry about its long-term effects on them, but I don't voice my concerns. They don't understand my refusal to get it, but then, even if I tried to tell them why, they still wouldn't understand. They've both drunk the liberal the Kool-aid.

I have never used Twitter, mostly FB now because that's where the kids are. Neither one has said if they got the vaccine and I have not asked. I will not be getting it either. The technology is barely tested on animals and or effects on humans consuming the cattle that it has been used on. It is already in trials for other diseases and used in pill form and nasal spray. It may be impossible at some point to avoid it, but I will do so as long as possible!
