My favorite female vocalist.
What about Kate Bush?
Not so much.
Anti nuke Anti American Commie bitch
Yes I know, but the music is exceptional. Unfortunately many of the artists that have the most talent don’t meet our expectations politically. Actors on the other hand I have no use for. My world would be more boring than it already is without the music I appreciate. It’s a dichotomy I have not made my peace with.
You and I are similar.
I can very easily live without Hollyweird and actors. I couldn’t name a modern actor if someone held a gun to my head.
But I can’t live without music. Music is an integral part of my life and is a saving grace in my crappy life.
Having said that, I cannot listen to John Legend or some of the other super obnoxious leftists.
I’m not a Bonnie Raitt Fan. When it comes to female blues voices, I prefer Beth Hart and Brittany Howard, formerly of the Alabama Shakes.
You said what I was thinking more cleanly. I’m not as up on the Blues, I’m a Rocker and Bonnie Raitt crosses over more I think. There was a girl (woman) in my town that was a very good singer and was a big part of the very small night club scene here. She was a back up vocalist for Bonnie, that may have played a part.
