We knew that withdrawing meant a Taliban takeover. Which means we will have to deal with Taliban as the government of Afghanistan.
So why bother to bomb them? How does that help anything?

Trying to help the Afghan army that’s American trained? Only that is reason to bomb them during a pull out. So reminiscent of Vietnam.
I wish we could put soldiers or at least back the border patrol on the southern border. Maybe use them at home? It’s all such a tragedy.

Once the Taliban regain full control expect ISIS like brutality to follow.
