Eh, I have a very very high BMI and have about a 13% body fat according to my test Tuesday. Says I am morbidly obese.

Mind you, I am a top ranked power lifter, by weight class. I can also do the 400 at a second under a minute which is terrible for racers but great got an old weight lifter.

Anyway, BMI is a stupid test.

This came out a few days ago. Everybody should be made aware of this. If you have had close contact with a COVID infected person (positive COVID test or symptoms), you can now get the Regeneron Monoclonal Antibody cocktail as a prophylactic measure! There is a catch, though: you have to be not fully vaccinated (less than two weeks after shot #2) OR are not expected to mount an adequate immune response to the complete SARS-CoV-2 vaccination (for example, people with immunocompromising conditions, including those taking immunosuppressive medications).

According to my 34 BMI, I am morbidly obese.

Never mind I have 8 abs visible. And am extremely fit.

How many people walking around are as fit as we are? I was a distance runner in high school and college. I’m 6’-1” and weigh 185 lbs. still exercise very regularly in my late 60’s.

Oh yeah, I am going to rush right out and get me a WuFlu shot. Sure I am. I am more fearful of the sorta, kinda vaccine than I am of the WUFlu. I do know when you add in my age plus my health risks, I have about a 85-90 percent of surviving the WuFlu. The risks from the sorta kinda vaccine is unknown.

The interpretation of the above seems to be “First, do no harm...to your career”. Once our ‘Dictators in DC’ speak, there is no room for debate. Using HCQ or Ivermectin, even if it works, is simply a career-killer for most doctors, since our ‘Dictators in DC’ have spoken and made it clear that these drugs are NOT acceptable as treatments (since they may lower support for the vaccines).

One of my doc friends told me that anyone who has a BMI over 40 and catches covid pretty much has a death sentence.

I have a friend who fits that description. Got Covid. Was back to normal in a week.

My friend has treated hundreds of covid parents. He stated that people who are obese or have extreme vitamin D deficiency are really at risk. I’m sure there is some outliers.
