Of course, 35 doesn’t sound scary enough, so they have to express it as a percentage.
But just look at the actual numbers, and they’re nowhere close to what they were at their peak in January 2021, and the number of new cases are declining.

You’re comparing January to mid-summer. Cases are 1/3 and most likely will go up in the cooler months (83 summer/62 winter)
But I’m just posting what I see and appreciate the input.
That looks like Iowa’s graph. Though the testing lag is giving an artifact on the tail end and the peak was November.
Reporting anomalies are only corrected by following a 7-day moving average. If you look at the 7-day moving average for new cases in Gibraltar, here’s what you find:

Gibraltar has had 1 death since the middle of March. And the 99% vaccinated only refers to those who are eligible for vaccination in Gibraltar. 20% of their new cases are among unvaccinated persons.
Congratulations, this headline is literally wrong about every single piece of information it conveys. Literally nothing about it is accurate.
The chart you are showing shows a big wave earlier, a flat period and a recent wave that looks like it may be at its top and ready to go down, or might be at a false peak. But your words say that it has gone down as if the wave the chart shows doesn’t exist. Why the difference? Are you not able to see it?
ah saw dates you mentioned you are just talking about current wave. Hopefully it will go down more, but it has not gone down much yet from the top per that chart.
I can see the chart just fine, and I’ve posted the numbers from the chart. The case numbers rose slightly at the beginning of July. They peaked with a 7-day moving average of 31 whole cases July 22nd. They they began a descent and are at 24 cases per day as of yesterday’s reporting. They went up over the course of several weeks to 31 and are now coming back down. The chart shows this because the data behind the chart shows this.

This is all pretty clear stuff. There is no current rise in cases (rapid of otherwise). 99% of the population is NOT vaccinated (99% of the eligible people are and 20% of their new cases are among unvaccinated persons). And deaths are not “on the rise”. They’ve had 1 death from COVID-19 in Gibraltar since the middle of March. 1.
Yes, sorry if that wasn’t clear. I was referencing the latest mini-wave since that’s what this post topic is about (although it’s horribly inaccurate in every facet).
The article makes it sound like it is shooting up, but I note that the current wave is smaller so far than the last big one.
You made it sound like the wave was settling back down, but seems we don't know that yet, it looks like it is starting to go back down, but can't see how we know that will be a trend.
Considering the previous wave, it looked like there were smaller waves up and down a bit before the huge one. Hopefully that is not the case this time, but it might be as far as I can tell.
The “vaccines” are working. They are a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu. Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria and drop their precautions thus get the flu and help reach herd immunity. The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.
Not understanding the rush to get an unproven, non-approved experimental injection involving a new technology (mRNA), for something that has a 99% + recovery rate, while wagging one’s finger at those who refuse. All while low-cost therapeutics and prophylaxsis are proven to work (ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, etc).
A critical aspect of the Emergency Use Authorization for vaccines is for there to be no other viable treatments for covid. That is why Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine have been smeared as much as they have. Also include the profit incentive of mass injections vs a less than $1 per pill treatment. The U.S. medical system follows the dollars, not the science.
The mRNA vaccine has killed more people than all previous vaccines combined. The swine flu vaccine was halted in 1976 In 9 states after 3 people died.
This is not a vaccine. The jab using mRNA delivers mRNA in a nano lipid or fat envelope to a cell. It’s a medical device designed to stimulate a cell into becoming a pathogen creator by creating the known to be harmful spike protein.
Vaccine is a defined term in law and under CDC and FDA standards. A vaccine has to stimulate an immunity in the person receiving it. And it must also disrupt transmission.
That’s not what this is. Even the drug manufacturers admit the jab or its mRNA does not stop transmission.
The jab is a treatment, but if it’s discussed as a treatment it would not get the sympathetic ear of public health officials because people would ask what other treatments there are. And alternative treatments would hamper FDA’s ability to issue emergency approval of the jabs.
Defining the narrative with the term vaccine is a sucker punch to open and free discourse. “Vaccine” throws the discussion into one of pro/con vaccine. The jab is a mechanical device in the form of a very small packet of technology inserted into the human system to activate the cell to become a pathogenetic spike protein manufacturing site.
No basis exists to stipulate this is a vaccine. Simply put, this is a chemical pathogen device meant to unleash chemical pathogen production within a cell. It’s a medical device, not a drug. The jab is not a living or biologic system, but rather a physical technology that just happens to come in the size of a molecular package.
