Looks to be a M777, 155mm (just over 6 inch) howitzer - used by the US Army and USMC (and about a half-dozen other countries).

A good gun crew is poetry in motion - 15 rounds in under 3 minutes (fun starts at about 1:30 and there is some language...). Remember that each projectile weighs about 95-100lbs...

FWIW - In WWII, Navy had an 8" gun that would fire 8 times a minute. That means 72, 354 pound, 8" high explosive shells per minute with an effective range of 30K yards. They were also effective against high flying aircraft and could fire two 100 rapid-fire missions before needing to let barrels cool.
