A would-be ghostbuster got busted up when she fell 15 to 20 feet through the roof of an abandoned train station in Buffalo, local reports said.

The 35-year-old woman and a man were taking part in a paranormal investigation of the Buffalo Central Terminal on Saturday at 10:30 p.m. when she plunged through the top of a substation, according to reports.

She was rushed to a local hospital and treated for multiple unspecified injuries, The Buffalo News stated. The ghost-hunting pair didn’t have permission to be on the property, which hasn’t seen a train in 42 years.

I like good Art Deco, the Chrysler Building for example. This thing looks like it was built in the USSR.

“This thing looks like it was built in the USSR.”

Well, Chrysler is a high standard. I think this is a beautiful building that's been left to decay. Clean her up, put in some new windows, fix the clock, etc., and she'd dramatically improve her appearance.

We do have an Art Deco Courthouse here in Nashville, but it's a bit of a disappointment because it looks more like a sarcophagus.

Sadly, they demolished the prior 19th century City Hall and Courthouse (which was a copy of the State Capitol) for it. To make matters worse, they demolished all of the beautiful Second Empire & Victorian Italianate buildings that surrounded the public square.

Athens of the South. Many great buildings in Nashville. I lived there in the 70’s and appreciated them.
