Cousins, the starter, and Vikings backup quarterbacks Kellen Mond and Nate Stanley were placed on the COVID-19 reserve list last weekend, and have missed the last three practices. Mond tested positive and Cousins and Stanley were classified as high-risk close contacts, meaning neither has been vaccinated. Cousins and Stanley have to quarantine at least five days.

The goal is to get Cousins (along with Thielen and Rudolph) out of the starting lineup. Mond will end up being the starter at QB. That’s just on offense. On defense, they will look to find a way to bench Harrison Smith. NFL=Social Engineering.

Cousins should just hope he got Covid from Mond and get it over with. AT19 and Smith are pro bowl players- fan favorites that the Vikings would love to find the fountain of youth while they are still at the top of their depth charts. AT and HS will be gone at the first available opportunity. If you cannot see the agenda in the NFL ... well. Mond will play for several years no matter how he performs.
Rudolph plays for the Giants.
Who will cut him as soon as possible. He lacks burst and has no room-brightening smile, but he does bring his lunch pail every day and is a blue-collar player. Unless their approach has changed dramatically, the Giants might be the worst possible place for a player like him to land.
And Mond was vaccinated.
So the vaccinated guy tests positive and the two unvaccinated players (who have not tested positive - only “close contacts”) are the ones punished. We are living in the Bizarro World.
