Booster vaccines for “variants” for every letter of the alphabet...

Gonna make the gullible peons’ arms and legs look like heroin addicts...

Now _that_ is the best scam of all..

Thanks for the informative post. We’ll just have to see if time crystals are the scientific breakthrough purported the article. For now the most significant scientific breakthrough that occurred in most of current Freeper’s lifetimes is the silicon chip itself. The silicon chip changed the world.

I tried reading it carefully. Wasn’t worth it. He explains entropy as I have always heard it explained. Then he says this:

“They can, theoretically, maintain entropy even when they’re used in a process.”

But that is not consistent with his definition.

I think what he is saying is that someone has finally discovered a perpetual motion machine. I won’t bet on it yet.

Agreed, if it’s Google it’s dark.

Now that time crystals are here, none of that matters. Let’s all do a happy dance! 😄 /s

Seems to be legit. Check out that Quantum Magazine article cited at the bottom of this article. Some of the biggest names in physics are involved.

But you’re right; speculation is running wild on the web. Everything from time travel, warp drives, eternal life (in this world), unlimited energy, better cheese cake, etc. It’s enough to make a guy say, “Naaah... ain’t possible. Especially from one lousy invention.”

The Pentagon has slapped a lid on it, fwiw.

Time crystals are a wickedly difficult concept to understand and even harder to explain.

So I gather from trying to read the word salad.

Let’s ask Sheldon. I believe he changed his research from String Theory to Quantum Mechanics, or was that Dark Matter or Dark Energy or any math that works on a white board? I just hope they get this resolved so I can Teleport To Fiji without the Airport and the Crazies on a Plane.

What’s amazing about time crystals is that when they cycle back and forth between two different configurations, they don’t lose or use any energy. <<<
