Those suffering from gender dysphoria are seriously mentally ill, and should be treated as such. They are not "normal" in any sense of the word. They are profoundly diseased individuals who should be quarantined away from normal children. Pretending they are normal does no one a service. It impedes possible legitimate treatment which might result in a cure.

When I was in grade school in 1997, we did our fifth grade play: The Wizard of Oz, based on the books, not the movie. We had a boy play the wicked witch of the west, and my God was he good. He was a class clown, so he played it up big time.
Never at any point was it a sex-related agenda. He wanted to be funny.
I miss those days.
