A shooting that would generate perhaps the most famous internet meme in history.

My mom claimed that there was a film clip at first that you could see on Oswald’s face that he knew what Jack Ruby was there for. She said they only showed it once.
Me too. Decades later I am still amazed that a person could walk into that police garage, unchecked, when a high value prisoner is being transferred.
Beat me to it. It was a band practice gone wrong...
The only thing that is missing is Yoko Ono singing.
Got home it was on all three TV channels.
And just like that, the story about JFK’s affair with a communist spy came to an end.
Oswald didn’t kill himself (and neither did Epstein).
Now that’s a very small stage.
Its a bit easier to gain such access when like Ruby, you worked for the Mob including running one of their joints in Havana, owned a strip joint in Dallas frequented by the police, could beat the girls that worked for you and never be charged for it, and bleat some nonsensical excuse for shooting Oswald that “he wanted to spare Jackie the trauma of a trial”. The excuse was accepted at face value by the media and the Warren Commission.
No mention of Ruby being a lifetime member of the mob?
Another tired attempt to give the stamp of approval to the deep state version fed to the deep state’s sheep.
The graffiti painted on the wall next to Lee Harvey Oswald’s head is the logo for the Punk Rock band the Dead Kennedys
There was a problem...Oswald captured alive. Ruby was well known to the cops thru corruption. He could get in to that basement. So the mob sent him in..he did his job. Oswald won’t talk and the secret is safe. There’s more, but not here. Oh and then they whacked Ruby in jail. All done nicely.

Ruby took good care of his copper friends and was well known in the area.
My guess is, they just thought he wanted al look at Oswald?
