Less than 0.004% of people fully vaccinated against Covid-19 experienced a breakthrough case resulting in hospitalization and less than 0.001% died from the disease, according to the latest data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The data highlights what leading health experts across the country have highlighted for months: Covid-19 vaccines are very effective at preventing serious illness and death from Covid-19 and are the country's best shot at slowing the pandemic down and avoiding further suffering.

Imagine on Big Island there are 100000 old folks and 100000 young folks.
Let’s say the risk of Covid death is .5% for unvaccinated old folks and .1% for vaccinated old folks.
Let’s say the risk of Covid death is .01% for unvaccinated young folks folks and .005% for vaccinated young folks.
Imagine 90% of the old folks get vaccinated and 20% of the young folks get vaccinated.
unvaccinated old dead 10000x.5%=50
unvaccinated young dead 80000x.01%=8
vaccinated old dead 90000x.1%=90
vaccinated young dead 20000x.005%=1
The death toll would be 91 vaccinated, 58 unvaccinated.
I see very similar numbers in England, Scotland, Germany & Israel.
I heard an analyst say they are coming out of the Delta Variant wave and we are just entering it. Some states are starting to reflect what those countries have been reporting.

What I do know is that it is hard to find any trustworthy information due to the blocking of sources who aren’t in lockstep with the junta.
