Article said egg yolk. Makes sense, but to look at it and then eat it is gross. Like eating the dinner debris that winds up on your dental floss before bed. I cannot even imagine his thought process here.

Maybe he did it for health reasons. Decades ago I heard a doctor say that people who are their own ... you know ... boogers ... would inoculate themselves from diseases. (Gross. I know.) Like a vaccine. Maybe he’s healthier than we think he is.
