Triply so when you first follow the cop into the lobby of the police station full of cops.

A cop I used to know, 6 feet, 180 pounds, physically fit guy, was on what he said was a very routine traffic stop on a large black male. Said the guy suddenly, no warning whatsoever, reached down and tried to grab his gun. Cop fought him off and then had to chase him down. There are crazy people out there.
