Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced on Thursday a world-first vaccination drive to inoculate people over 60 with a third COVID vaccine dose, starting Sunday.
“Call your parents and grandparents now and make sure they get the third shot,” Bennett told a televised press briefing, claiming there is enough evidence to support the need for a third dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
"Reality proves the vaccines are safe," Bennett said. "Reality also proves the vaccines protects from severe morbidity and death. And like the flu vaccine that needs to be renewed from time to time, it is the same in this case."
As of Sunday, Israelis over 60 who received their second vaccine dose at least five months ago will be offered the booster shot, which Bennett said “gives your body very strong protection. Get the booster shot; take care of yourselves and those near you.”

how many deaths from the “vaccine”? how many seriously harmed? or do you not bother to consider those things, just the ridiculous constantly changing methods of counting “cases” and “cover deaths”? the monkied with the numbers to escalate them under Trump and immediatley changed how they calculated them under biden wouldn’t that make you think other countries play around with the numbers too? Seriously, CDC just admitting larger percentage of Vaxed people are the ones getting covid. Unvaxed not so much. Israel is experiencing 1 COVID-19 death per day on average in a country of over 9 million people. It’s worked beautifully. But it was developed for the April 2020 variant. Delta didn’t exist when the vaccines were developed. And Delta has mutations in key proteins which change their structure such that antibodies for previous SARS-CoV-2 variants don’t fit as well. Along with that, Delta is vastly more infectious (R0 of 8 - 9.5 vs 2.5 for the April 2020 variant and 1.3 for the original Wuhan virus). Even people who were previously infected are more at risk from the Delta variant for these reasons. About 1 in 6,000 previously infected are getting reinfected with the Delta variant.
Even with all that, the vaccines are still working remarkably well for Israel. This move by the Prime Minister is to boost immunity even higher for those most at risk of serious illness in an attempt to ensure deaths REMAIN near-zero. Is it necessary? Arguable. Is it a problem to do it? Likely not. There’s no known risk associated with a third shot for Pfizer or Moderna.
The polio vaccine requires four shots. Does that make it bad? You know anyone in the US who’s had polio recently? Sometimes more does work better.

Fair enough, and yes, they’re colorized. They state that right on the linked site I provided for them. There’s no color in an electron microscopy image because at that scale, the concept of “color” doesn’t really apply.
There's no known info. There is known info that the 2nd shot of these mRNA vaccines seems to produce more adverse reactions than the 1st for individuals.
There’s no known risk associated with a third shot for Pfizer or Moderna.
There is a risk for heart problems amoung young men.
Then my comment stand. I am correct and you are wrong. Way more than you are right. You crowed about the vaccine being prevention, then reducing symptoms now where are we.
