It does still pop up every now and then.

No need to vaccinate anyone anymore.

But shouldn't we do it just to be absolutely safe?

And Swine flu, Japanese encephalitis, plague vaccine, o so many tins to vaccinate against.

Since it hasn't been seen in 43 years then I would say we're absolutely safe.

You had better get them all.

COVID is here and now. The others that you mention are not. If there is a serious outbreak then I might get vaccinated. Until then I'll pass.
