If Kevin McCarthy understood Pelosi's game, he would call Pelosi’s bluff on arresting unmasked representatives. If nearly all Republican representatives show up on the same day without masks will Pelosi have the courage to arrest nearly half of the House? If Pelosi carries out mass-arrests of elected officials it will expose her for the tyrant that she is. If Pelosi backs down she will lose face and lose political power. Conversely, McCarthy and Republican representatives would gain political power.
Too bad that McCarthy is probably too cowardly, compromised, or moronic to seize the opportunity. He looks good on TV though……

Our Constitution explicitly gives Congress members immunity from arrest.
Article I Section 6:
They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.
Madame Pelosi’s powers are not superior to the Constitution.
She does not have the power to order the arrest of members, who refuse to wear a mask.
Congressmen/women have immunity from arrest on the House floor.

McCarthy and the rest of the leadership should not only urge all Republicans to undertake a coordinated action like that suggested here, but when she is no longer Der Fuehrer, she should be arrested the first time she opens her mouth, on a charge of “speaking while stupid.”
Doesn’t the constitution say congressmen can’t be arrested while congress is in session unless it is a serious violent crime?
