Monkey Wards is the nickname for Montgomery Ward. It used to be a huge retail outfit similar to Sears, Woolworths, J.C. Penny, etc. It was noted for having a large catalog where you could shop-by-mail.
Went out of business and closed it’s last store around 2000. I have heard that they are back as an online outfit.

That’s what I figured it was. MW wasn’t popular here in the Northeast but I got it anyway.
My NH home has propane heat, same as my house. I paid a guy to come take away the old oil tank. Pumped 30 gallons out of it, Lord only knows how long it had sat outside in the back of the mobile home. I’m just lucky I got rid of it before it started leaking
