The Fedgov under Trump and Biteme do not have the authority to lock down any of the States as we experienced. They have the authority regarding Fedgov employees, land, districts, etc. It was State Governors that destroyed millions of livelihoods and businesses in those States.

I live in a 100% Dem run state. I have NOT returned to pre-CCPVirus spending. Shopping trips have a purpose, little to no “this would be nice, I don’t need it, bit I can afford it” purchases.
I’m still recovering from the fist lock down. The more in savings, the better.

Is there reason to believe the vaccines don’t work on this one? Colombia has had a terrible time, but their trend is down, not so coincidentally I think because their vaccine rollout is finally getting somewhere.

I was actually being somewhat sarcastic.
Do I accept that this virus can be very serious or lethal for some? Yes. That’s obvious. A distant family member of mine recently passed after getting it.
However, Fauci himself has said the masks are useless.
Other treatments are available. Ones that folks aren’t getting because of Fauci and the treatments, as they are NOT vaccines.
Over 99% of folks who contract the virus are fine. Most without any medical intervention.
A friend has lost 4 healthy, family members who got the treatments and all had blood clots. One was a perfectly healthy 26yr old man, whose heart exploded while camping with his father.
The symptoms of the Delta variant are no different than the original.
Do you find it interesting that the Flu disappeared last year?
