The Roxboro Police Department responded to several reports of people pointing what look like real guns at drivers and other people as part of a “gun prank war,” according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
Police said they “stopped several cars to find young people who admit to playing this game.”
“This (is) a dangerous and potentially deadly game to play,” Roxboro police said in the post.
“There is nothing funny about this game. We urge those playing to stop immediately before you are arrested or prank the wrong person ending in tragic consequences.”
