Judges must never be the partisan defenders of conservatism. In a democracy, we elect representatives to enact laws. Those on the bench must resist the temptation to do so. Then the unelected bench becomes the most dangerous branch when judges impose their political/social values on others.
By the way, this is what separates liberals from conservatives when it comes to the role of judges in society.
Again, I know what I’m talking about here. If you look to the judicial branch to solve your problems, you are looking in the wrong place. Elect conservative representatives to do that job.
So we should forget SCOTUS and count on the 145 Republicans who just voted to keep Liz Cheney in leadership after she voted to impeach Trump based on a Democrat hoax?
Don’t hold your breath waiting for that “conservative” GOP cavalry to arrive. It ain’t coming.
We need all hands on deck now. If that means Thomas and Alito leading an “activist” SCOTUS in support of liberty so be it. This war and only one side is fighting.

You and I are singing from the same playbook on this thread. It’s nice to have an ally.
Respectfully........ your remedy is the electoral process, not with judges who are sworn to apply the law, whether they like the law or not. Judges are not elected for this purpose.
