Yikes! Baltimore is worse than even a few Mexican cities. 😱
Stuck in a bathroom window. Fell between two buildings.. Wife leaves husband alone on a vacation in tourist town?
Check insurance papers....check marital history...check business dealing with family. What murderer is gonna try and stuff a stiff through a bathroom window? How did victim get out of hotel without being seen? Sumtin’ be phishee. And it ain’t the ceviche.
Question is, was he stuck trying to get in, or trying to get out?
Went to Tijuana one back in the late 80’s, didnt stay long and never went back.
Interesting possibilities.
Thank you for posting.

No one is safe in Mexico.
You will be dead on if it turns out the wife insisted on going to that particular all-inclusive, whether it was sandos or dreams vista or moon palace or even the hyatt, they will bury this story.
The worst part is, family will likely never even know what happened, let alone get Justice. Law enforcement is either bribed or coerced to look the other way.
Things are getting dangerous enough int he US due to the progressive movements. Let alone risk your life in Mexico.
The best way to visit Mexico is to go to Big Bend National Park find a place on the Rio Grande River where the river is narrow take your shoes off take a short walk over to the other side of the river walk around the bank for about a hundred feet turn around cross the river again and come back into the United
"Authorities with the Quintana Roo State Attorney General's Office, which is investigating Snow's death, said in a statement late Friday that Snow died of mechanical asphyxia due to thoracic-abdominal compression. The statement said Snow was trapped in a window when trying to enter a bathroom and could not support his feet on the ground, giving him no support point to release himself from the window.
The Quintana Roo authorities said Snow's death appeared to be an accident but that they were still investigating what happened.
The Mexican Attorney General’s Office tweeted some information earlier Friday, saying Snow’s body was found in a bathroom window at a hotel in the Benito Juarez district. Authorities said it’s not the same hotel where Snow and his wife were staying at."
My sister and brother-in-law are flaming liberals, always vacationed in Mexico in the '90s, just gushed about their experiences and finally bought a second home in San Felipe in Baja.
They could never figure why, and sometimes mocked my "racism" because I'd always take the family up to Canada on grand tours. "Why drive thousands of miles (we lived in Oceanside, CA) when you can drive a couple of hundred to our place and enjoy it's vibrant culture?". Told them that when I was in Canada, I never felt like I had a bullseye between my shoulder blades, which ruffled their feathers and resulted in the "Oh you Conservatives are SO racist!" charge.
Around the year 2000, something happened and they sold the place in San Felipe at a loss and never went back nor ever spoke of the place again. When when I asked what happened, I never got a straight answer or was sloughed off.
Methinks Reality reared its ugly head.
“stuck in the bathroom window”
If it were a gay couple, I’d be more hesitant to blame the Mexicans for this one.
i would not even go to “nice” parts of Mexico.
and I have lived in Sub Saharan Africa, so that’s saying something.
Gringos killed in Mexico? I’ve been to Cancun several times and in 1987 we heard ambulances arrive outside the motel but we never heard any sirens when they left.
Curious, I asked the desk clerk the next morning what happened. He said a drunk college kid fell off the balcony and killed himself. That’s why the ambulances were not in a hurry. He said it happens all the time and the locals are careful to keep it out of the newspapers.
I went back in the 1990s and never had any problems. But after all the stories I’ve heard since then I will never return.
The cartels used to have an agreement not to invade the gringo tourist areas but it seems that is no longer being honored. Now, Americans can easily get caught up in the violence and not even leave their hotel.

Pretty sure Cancun was the wife’s idea.
I’m closing in on 70 and I’ve NEVER heard a man say “Let’s have our honeymoon in a craphole like Mexico.”
However for women Cancun still holds some allure even if it is dangerous.
I knew some couples who went to Cancun back when it was pretty safe and every time the wife insisted on it. Their husbands didn’t want to spend precious vacation time in a third world country, even if it was at a swanky resort.
